0753 Mothers’ sleep and executive function: Downstream implications for parenting and toddlers’ executive function

Abstract Introduction Mothers’ sleep is positively associated with positive parenting (e.g., responsiveness) — what has not been established how mothers’ executive function (EF) could mediate this association, and how, in turn, influence the development of their toddlers’ EF. Methods Mothers toddlers (N = 351) were followed at child ages 30, 36, 42 months. M 32.70 years old (SD 5.03); 49% male. The sample was largely middle class 90% White. Fifteen percent mothers single.
